December 22, 2017 -- Happy Holidays

As we head off to be with families and loved ones, I want to take a moment to wish you the very best during this holiday season.

2017 has been an emotional rollercoaster, from the daily news out of Washington to shootings, hurricanes and wildfires. And in San Francisco, we are grieving over last week’s sudden loss of Mayor Ed Lee.

I know we are all processing what happened this past year. During my reflections, particularly on the legacy of Mayor Lee, I am reminded of how our community is at our best when we come together as family, appreciating our differences as well as what binds us together.

This holiday season, I’m holding my family just a bit tighter, thankful for the precious time we have to celebrate those who mean the most to us. And {{Salutation,DefaultTo=friend}}, I want to let you know how grateful I am that you are part of our extended family.

Candace, Lucas and I hope you’re able to spend quality time with your family, friends and loved ones as you recharge. Happy holidays, and all our best to you in the New Year!
