May 25, 2018 -- Anti-Bullying Act

In today’s political climate, there is no room for bullying in our schools.

That’s why I introduced AB 2291, to prevent school bullying.  Our bill will help California become a place where everyone is protected and embraced, regardless of religion, ethnicity, immigration status, or sexual orientation.

Just passed by the Assembly, AB 2291 now heads to the Senate.  You can read more about my bill here.

We have a duty to our fellow Californians to stand up to hate, prevent discrimination, and make our state a welcome home for every young person who lives here. I believe this bill will take us one step closer to that goal.

I hope you will read on to find out more about why we need this bill right now. Together, we can make our future more tolerant and compassionate.
